Yessell Lane 3 Day Road Closure – 22nd June
Yessell Lane will be closed, between Boston Lane and Canada Bank, for an anticipated 3 days commencing June 22nd for Seven Trent utility works.
Welcome to Charlton, a village in the Wychavon district of Worcestershire. It lies between the river Avon and Bredon Hill, approximately 2 miles north west of the old market town of Evesham and around 4 miles east of the pretty Georgian town of Pershore. The Merry Brook, which rises on the lower slopes of Bredon Hill, flows through the village green in the centre of the village, before discharging into the River Avon, on the outskirts of the neighbouring village of Fladbury. The origins of the village can be traced back to prehistoric times. The population totals approximately 550 people, housed in a variety of historic and modern dwellings. There are a number of listed buildings.
